  • Collector's Corner is one of the areas that sets this sale apart. It has a selection of first editions, signed and rare books, vintage vinyl records, maps, artwork, and other collectible items.
  • Music Table: Large selection of sheet music for the classical guitarist and lots of piano tutors
  • Record Table: Very large selection of classical LPs, jazz CDs, 78rpms, and 45rpms records.
  • FOL Gainesville does not allow pre-buying of items. Everything, and everybody waits on that opening morning entry that is traditionally lead by our Scottish Bag Piper!
  • All profits are used for the Alachua County Library District and community literacy projects.

  • We'll be taking additional Covid-19 precautions. We will be letting only 50 customers at a time into our warehouse. We'll be cleaning extensively before we open each day.
  • Both patrons and volunteer helpers will be required - under NY law and by our policy - to wear masks.in the store at all times. 
  • Hand sanitizer stations will be located throughout the building.  We'll mark 6 foot spacing in our aisles, and only 1 patron will be allowed in any such 6 foot space at a time.   
  • Our check-out procedures will change slightly, and customers can check out more effectively if they keep track of their own purchases of Category A, B, and C items as they are shopping.
  • To get in early on the 1st Saturday, patrons will be required to sign up in person between 6 pm and 8 pm on Friday night. Those patrons will be let in first when we open at 11 am Saturday. IDs will be checked for all patrons when they leave their names and when they check back in Saturday morning to enter the building.. Each person can check in for himself/herself only, not for any others, during Saturday night check-in and upon arriving Saturday morning. No camp-out line is needed or encouraged.
  • "Line Cam" updating continuously on our Facebook page. Patrons are encouraged to check the line before deciding when to come shop.
