- Collector's Corner is open the first four days of the sale, Saturday to Tuesday.
- HUGE Children and Young Adult sections
- Expanded indoor area with a separate entrance for Art/Architecture, Comics/Manga, and Puzzles/Games. Occupancy in these areas and in Collector's Corner will be limited.
- Music Table: Large selection of sheet music for the classical guitarist and lots of piano tutors
- Record Table: Very large selection of classical LPs, jazz CDs, 78rpms, and 45rpms records.
- FOL Gainesville does not allow pre-buying of items. Everything, and everybody waits on that opening morning entry that is traditionally lead by our Scottish Bag Piper!
- We will follow the most current CDC guidelines at the time. We recommend masks and social distancing.. On busy days shoppers may have to wait in line until others first leave the building.
- We encourage shoppers to bring your own bags and boxes for purchases.

- Presenting over 100,000 books covering a wide range of subjects including books of local interest, and a number of special priced books.
- Books are arranged on tables covering 50 - 60 broad subject areas on two floors of the War Memorial Building.
- Gift quality books and some signed by the author; and many first editions.
- A large number of cook books
- Many children's books
- An estimated 60% of the books are hard cover
- The book tables will be periodically restocked between the two weekends.
- Books are not picked over prior to the sale.
- From Thursday October 5 through Sunday October 15
- Opening Evening offers a first look will be from
- Thursday, 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- There is a $20 admission charge for non SCC Members.
- Free Admission - No admission charge for the remainder of the sale
- Open 9:00-6:00 all other days
- Great Prices: $4.00 for hard cover, $3 for paper back, $1 for children's books.
- Some specially priced books.
- On the final day of the sale: books will be sold by the bag or box at discount.

- The collections come directly from the treasured libraries of well over 100 families that have contributed books for the sale.
