This eliminates the need to stand in line for a long period of time. Starting at 5 pm, numbers will be called and small groups of patrons will be admitted in number order. Patrons arriving after 5 pm will not need numbers and will enter after all numbers have been collected. This will help alleviate congestion and all buyers will be allowed into the sale within 10 minutes of the opening, regardless of their place in line.
  • All items have been donated and proceeds directly support library programs and services that benefit patrons and community members.

  • Friends of the Levittown Library’s Annual Fall Book Sale Event returns from Oct. 10 to Oct. 15!
  • Over 12,000 book and audio/video titles (80% donated; 80% hardcover), all sorted by author or genre
  • All items in general area of sale (including hardcovers, books-on-CD, DVDs, CDs, LPs, and videogames) are only $1.00 each!
  • Better Books and Better Media items are $2 and up, while Bargain Hallway items (i.e. cassettes, VHS tapes, etc.) are just 6-for-$1.00.
  • October’s A/V section will include our biggest selections to date of
    • Blu-Rays
    • Still-sealed DVDs, classic movie titles from the ‘40s through the early ‘70s (many of them never opened)
    • Jazz titles (nearly all of them dating from the ‘60s or earlier) on LP or 78s (including 78s on such specialty jazz labels as Prestige, Savoy, and Apollo)
  • A flea market will also be held outside in the library parking lot on Sat. October 13, during sale hours.
  • Sale days and operating hours for the fall sale will be:
