  • Our unpriced mass market paperbacks will be $1 each but only on Saturday. Back to 50 cents on Sunday, and half-price on Monday.
  • And don’t forget our Noteworthy category: Books that are not quite special but still a cut above ordinary, including signed, old, interesting, and definitely worth a careful look, as does our Vintage Children’s Books category
  • Our special donor collections this year include:
    • William Louis-Dreyfus, philanthropist, businessman, art collector and poet, whose works were published in the New Criterion, Hudson Review, and the Southwest Review. He was also president of the Poetry Society of America, 1998-2008. In addition, his library had large holdings on civil rights and the American black experience.
    • Edward Vebell, a fencer and illustrator who during World War II was a staff artist for Stars & Stripes as well as the official courtroom artist for the Nuremberg war trials.  His collection is heavy in militaria, the American West, and the American Indian, and much will be at the sale, augmented by other donations.
    • Emanuel “Manny” Margolis, a prominent civil rights attorney  and onetime chairman of the ACLU of Connecticut.
    • Heritage Press. Several collections -- in slipcases -- in our Literature category.
  • Visa, MasterCard, and American Express accepted. Admission is free. No prior sign-ups or place-holding.
  • No sale previews. Prices start at 50 cents for children's paperbacks. No sales tax on purchases.
