- The sale will feature a curated selection of collectible and vintage books at great prices, including first & special editions, signed & inscribed copies, leather-bound & finely illustrated works and children’s books.
- The sale will also include art books, modern collectibles, ephemera, comics, vinyls, sheet music songbooks and other treasures.
- Prices will start as low as three dollars!

- The Friends of the Ferguson Library operates the only retail used book shop in lower Fairfield County. fergusonlibrary.org/friends/book-shop The shop sells gently used books, movies and music at reasonable prices. More than 100 volunteers contribute about 11,000 hours annually working in the Friends Book Shop and on library programs and committees. All Book Shop proceeds support the library.

- Surplus copies of the Staples High School Yearbook from various years between 2000 and 2024
- Novels by NY Times best selling author Jane Green, translated into 17 languages, in new condition!

- Expanded indoor area with a separate entrance for Art/Architecture, Comics/Manga, and Puzzles/Games. Occupancy in these areas and in Collector's Corner will be limited.
- Music Table: Large selection of sheet music for the classical guitarist and lots of piano tutors
- Record Table: Very large selection of classical LPs, jazz CDs, 78rpms, and 45rpms records.
- FOL Gainesville does not allow pre-buying of items. Everything, and everybody waits on that opening morning entry that is traditionally lead by our Scottish Bag Piper!
- We will follow the most current CDC guidelines at the time. We recommend masks and social distancing.. On busy days shoppers may have to wait in line until others first leave the building.
- We encourage shoppers to bring your own bags and boxes for purchases.

- This is a well-organized sale with all items sorted into categories. Our books are stored on shelves (not in boxes) in our 4,000 square-foot shopping area and are categorized into fiction, non-fiction, sci-fi/horror, teen literature and childrens'. Fiction is alphabetized by author. Non-fiction is categorized by subject.
- The DVDs, CDs, vinyl records, and sheet music are also sorted into categories.
- With over 30,000 books items for sale spread across all three floors of the library, there's something for everyone.
- Inventory is always fresh since the last sale.
- Signs are located inside the library indicating where the various items are located.
- Cash, check, or credit card (on sales of $10 or more) accepted.
- To alleviate crowding during the busiest hours of the sale, and to provide a safe and pleasant experience to all our shoppers, pleae be mindful of the following guidelines:
- No wheeled vehicles permitted in the basement other than occupied strollers, wheelchairs, or book sale-owned bins and carts.
- No large bags or boxes will be permitted in the aisles and no books on the floor.
- There is a designated holding area for large bags and boxes as well as an area to store selected books that can no longer be carried by hand. Please note that if you take an item to the holding area, it is considered purchased, and you will be charged for it.
