    • Sunday, May 7, (Bag Sale only) 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
  • Thousands of gently used hardcover and paperback books for adults and teens (no children's books) have been carefully sorted.
  • Prices range from 50 cents to $2.00. On Sunday, fill a bag with books for only $4.00.
  • Books, CDs and DVDs have all been donated and all proceeds directly support library programs and services that benefit patrons and community members.
  • Cash and checks are accepted; no credit or debit cards.
  • The sale is available to the public; there is no pre-sale and books are not picked over.
  • Scanners/electronic devices are not allowed on Thursday.
  • *On Thursday May 4, to enhance your book sale experience, numbered entrance cards will be provided to the first 100 patrons, starting at 3 pm. After receiving a number, patrons may leave and return at 4:45. This eliminates the need to stand in line for a long period of time. Starting at 5 pm numbers will be called and small groups of patrons will be admitted in number order.  Patrons arriving after 5 pm will not need numbers and will enter after all cards have been collected.  This will help alleviate congestion and all buyers will be allowed into the sale within 10 minutes of the opening, regardless of their place in line.
  • For information, e-mail the Friends at foegcl@gmail.com or call the library at (518) 477-7476.
