- This is a huge used book sale with 100,000 books, records, tapes, CDs, DVDs, VHS, games, puzzles
- All books were donated. All are sorted.
- Something for everyone. Again this year we'll have a large Clearance section for true bargain hunters.
- The sale will be held for six days, September 30 to October 6, 2010.
- Opening day: Thursday, September 30, from noon to 7 pm
- Admission charge on opening day: $10
- No admission from Friday through Tuesday!
- Friday, 10 am to 9 pm.
- Saturday, 10am to 6pm
- Sunday, 10am to 6pm
- Monday, 9am to 6pm
- Tuesday, 9am to 5pm
- NOT picked over - it's all here for you!
- Holding Area: Sorting possible purchases must be done in our designated holding area. 2-hour time limit to hold books before sorting them. Due to fire code regulations books and boxes may not be stored along walls or in aisles.
- This year's event will once again be at the Commercial Building WEST, the bigger building at the county fairgrounds, to accommodate the increasing number of items we have to sell.
- Concessions will be inside the building.
- All sales benefit disaster relief and emergency preparedness services provided year-round to residents in Monroe and Owen Counties
