Please note the following Book Sale Procedures:

    • No books or other materials may be left unattended at any time.
    • There will be no separate high volume holding / evaluation area.  Shoppers are requested to evaluate items "in place"— decide whether to purchase an item at the table or shelf where it is displayed.  If you reject an item, please return it to the place it was displayed.  This procedure will be strictly enforced — any books found piled up and put to the side for later evaluation will be promptly re-shelved.
    • For high volume purchasers — as in recent sales, we will be happy to begin to add-up (tally) books you have selected for purchase while you continue shopping.  You must leave your name and cellphone number with your selections.
    • Please bring your own bags, boxes and rolling carts to carry your selections.  We do not anticipate having any boxes available for your use.
    • As of this writing, the wearing of face masks at the book sale is optional.  We will continue to monitor local conditions and regulations, and will adjust this procedure as conditions warrant. Please check back here on the day of the sale, to confirm mask requirements.  If face masks are required, you will need to supply your own mask.
    • Hand sanitizer will be available for use at the entrance to the sale, and at various stations throughout the Library.
    • Social distancing is highly encouraged.
    • If you are feeling unwell, have a fever, or are exhibiting any other symptoms of illness, please stay home.
    • Capacity will be subject to fire marshal regulations and COVID rules in effect at the time of the sale.

Can't wait for the Fall sale?  Shop at our Westport Book Shop at 23 Jesup Road in downtown Westport all year 'round.  For store hours and other information, click here.  Or shop with us online at our eBay store  www.ebay.com/str/westportbooksalesct   Items are added to our eBay store on a regular basis.
