  • Important information
  • The Early Bird ticket holder entrance will be on the South side of the Westport Library building (the Levitt Pavilion side), accessed via the Library's Upper Parking Lot.
  • Regular admission for 9am, entry will be at the top of the Library's Grand Staircase on the North (Jesup Green) side of the building. Please do not leave boxes or other "place holders" on the line.
  • BYOM: Bring Your Own Mask -- everyone over the age of 2 is required to wear a mask covering both nose and mouth at all times inside the Library. Hand sanitizer will be available at the entrance, and at various stations in the Library. Social distancing highly recommended. Capacity subject to COVID and fire marshal regulations in effect at the time.
  • No materials may be left unattended at any time. Shoppers are asked to evaluate items "in place" -- decide whether to purchase an item at the table or shelf where it is displayed. Please return rejected items to the place it was displayed. There will be no separate high-volume purchase area. Shoppers are encouraged to bring their own wheeled carts, bags and boxes.

  • IMPORTANT NOTICE: To stay in compliance with Penn State safety regulations, the AAUW State College Used Book Sale must limit the total number of people in the building at any one given time to 450. In addition, to provide full access to exits in the event of an emergency, the sale perimeter may not be used by customers for temporary storage. Dealers may go through their book picks on the balcony. To support the health and safety of the Penn State community — and in accordance with University measures — all guests who are not fully vaccinated for COVID-19 will be required to wear masks while inside the Ag Arena for the sale. These measures protect shopper safety, and increase the enjoyment of all shoppers. These are the current COVID 19 regulations and are subject to change based on guidance from the University and/or the CDC.
